In the fall of 2019 we held a community meeting and then conducted surveys [Detailed Survey Results] to gather feedback. What types of materials that you are generating? How do you want to use a ReUse Center? What services you are interested in seeing at a retail store? This feedback has informed project planning and the development of our business plan. Some of our key take-aways included:

• Participants are looking for options for salvaged building materials and would be interested in using them in home projects
• Price, environmental considerations, and the uniqueness of products are the top three reasons individuals would buy from a ReUse Center
• Household goods, building materials, and furniture are the top three items respondents were interested in accessing at a store
