Project Summary

This is the second annual effort where Cortland ReUse teams up with SUNY Cortland work to divert materials from landfill as students leave campus.

SUNY Staff are working with On-campus students to divert material from landfill to marked bins in residence halls. Teams of community volunteers will drive vehicles/trailers to designated pickup locations and transport materials to Cortland ReUse warehouse. Pickups will be completed by 11am during move-out week.

For off-campus housing, we’re encouraging student tenants and landlords to do drop-off at Cortland ReUse at 186 Homer Ave. If you have lots of stuff, please schedule in advance. Email us at hey@cortlandreuse.org by call the ReUse center at (607) 543-4010‬. We can find a convenient time for you.
