Second Hand Stories Writing Workshop
December 1 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
The Cortland ReUse Center invites local writers to “Second Hand Stories,” a workshop to feature the art of story-telling, built around any and all of the fascinating objects that are donated to the Center from our generous community. The workshop, facilitated by Kristin Yarnell and Lynn Olcott, will include introductions, roaming the store to find objects that tell a story, writing time, sharing your work (if desired), enjoying the work of others, and resource sharing.
The workshop is free, but please do support the mission of ReUse by donating or finding something to buy! Cortland ReUse exists to protect the environment and reduce waste by giving objects a second (or third) life of practical and happy use.
Hey Artists, Craft People, Hobbyists, Recycler, Zero Waste Advocate: If you have some skill that works with ReUse and can help by doing a class, please contact Cortland ReUse!
