Card Making
October 22, 2022 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
It’s card making season! You can make your own with help from local artist, Mary Elliott. In this session, Mary will guide you through making a set of four unique cards from all manner of materials from Mary’s collection or at the ReUse Center – Old wall paper samples, clean silverware envelopes from Trax, part of webbing from an old belt, butterflies created from old hymnal pages, acetate packaging, ribbons, buttons, whatever you can find! We’ll rip pages out of old books, ink them, tear them, and die cut them. Of course, you can bring your own materials, too, if you have an idea you want to try.
Mary Elliott is the owner of Eltimar Design where she teaches a variety of classes including Zentangle and Mixed Media. You can follow Mary on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/EltimarDesign/ or get creative at her website: https://eltimardesign.weebly.com/
As always, classes are pay what you can. Don’t let money get in the way of participation. Suggested donation $10. Proceeds go to Artist.
