In this session, local artist Mary Elliott will share how she makes “Altered Books.”    An altered book is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form, altering its appearance and/or meaning. It’s going to be fun!

We’ll have materials handy – lots of books – paints, stickers, pens, markers, ribbon, tape, whatever we can find.   You can feel free to bring your own ephemera, scrapbooking material, paint colors,  and whatever you might want to experiment with.

Mary Elliott is the owner of Eltimar Design where she teaches a variety of classes including Zentangle and Mixed Media.
